So i bought arma from amazon and couldnt get it to work but found out how to get it to work!

So you've been trying to dl dayz! but you've been putting it in the C:\Program Files (x86) folder! put it in the C:\Program Files folder! the things that appear from amazon on your desktop doesnt mean anything! delete it!!!

Launch arma 2 and arma 2 oa! one at a time then exit!

Download the updates!

ARMA 2: Combined Operations / Operation Arrowhead / Reinforcements Patch 1.60

DL THE DAYZ INSTALL TOOL

change the arma 2 folder in the settings to

C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2

LAUNCH ARMA CO

CLICK EXPANSIONS AND CHECK DAYZ MOD AND IT WILL RESTART

I bought it from amazon. I've been spending 6+ hours with the desktop trying to get it to work. If this works and compared to my previous level of thinking it should in fact work: I Will poop a brick sire.

Yeah thats what I haven't tried yet so no wonder it for sure isn't working! I'm currently downloading i and I had a pretty good Idea that was the problem (But now this confirms it).

Awesome man the patch did it this is soooooo fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunnnnnnnactually I've been walking through a forest for 1.5 hrs but I'm sure it will pick up soon :D again thanks so much man. Such a simple fix yet it helped me a bunch!

I actually posted this fix yesterday, just fyi Rocket said he did not want people purchasing from Amazon.com because they screw the devs over.
