Map can't detect me, normally you see yourself, some zombies etc. Now i can;t see anything and the map won't even show my location it just resets.

It's a server setting. Not all servers show you on the map.

Its alot better not being able to see yourself actually, other players can see you on the map if you are close enough to them and same for you.
