How to collect meat after gutting?

I did it a week ago fine, I would scroll up and collect meat. Now I can't find it. Why? I have killed so many things and can't get meat now.

You need to gut the animal with a hunting knife and then look at it and press G.

I have the knife, I will try looking at it and pressing g now.

I have had an issue were I can gut any of the animals but the pigs. Really annoying. <_<
