Evening all,

Can someone let me know how much a tent can hold?

Is there anyway of telling when its almost full?

Thanks in advance

I was wondering if a backpack full of gear could be placed in a tent or does the gear have to be removed before?

Your suppost to be able to load the packs up with gear and put them in, but at this point the contents arnt reliably saved like any other container. ie tents/cars. Seems like the gear vanishs after restart or if you've left the area too long.

It's called having your tent/vehicle raided.

LOL. True dat :) I wish there were locks for tents, there's no place for a tent so it doesn't get raided in one day's absence :(

Wouldnt the raider just take vehicle then? It would take an army of men to clear out full a tent+vehicle. Its accually called the Hive not saving your gear.....

Most raiders wont take off with the crap loot. Its pretty easy to tell the server took a crap on your stuff when even your road flares/tincans/shotgun with no ammo are all gone, but the off-road pickup ,ATV, or whatever other vehicle you had (fixed and fueled) its still sitting there beside your tent.

Perhaps theres a small chance a single guy with a vehicle took all the gear stashed in a tent 20 mins from the nearest town, but didnt have another guy with him to drive the vehicle away. I find it unlikely that this is the case every single time.

And what relevence does this have to the OP anyway?

My tent is about 5 days old now. Not a single item missing.

And it's in a relatively exposed area, you can see it from the road closest to it.

And so what if you managed to put a lock onto the zipper of your tent? I can rip open the walls of tents with my hands. (Tried, it's not impossible.)

Ya, getting locked out of a tent is like getting locked out of a convertible.
