Why does my computer run DayZ so poor?

Bad game performance

Win 7 64-bit

i7 2600

ASUS GTX 550 Ti

8GB Ram

1TB HD

1920 x 1080 Resolution

Is there ANYTHING I can do to resolve this issue and to play the game like I should be able to?

Try a lower resolution, and make sure to use the 100% 3D resolution. (Too high causes heavy lag, too low makes your screen blurry.)

Wouldn't playing on anything but my native resolution cause the game to look bad?
