Admin Exploit on US 282 Hosted by Blu

Hey,

On July 14th at approx. 3am two friends and I were making our way towards a helicopter crash site. There were only 4-5 of us on ther server one of which was the servers admin. He was near us and also taunting us with music and engaging us in combat. I don't think there was any possible way that he could defeat us in a 1v3. He sortly posted that there will be a server reset in 3 minutes when we were about 45 seconds out from the helo. He immediately shut the server down when we were about 50 feet away from the helo. Keep in mind this was only 45 seconds after he announced there would be a reset in 3 minutes. He then locked the server and put a password on it. Below I will post a screenshot of the server having 1 member on it with a password lock. That member would be him online looting the helocopter. Also, I want to add that I have never seen this server have a lock on it and is usually caters to 40 public members.

Also, don't be so quick to jump to conclusions about what admins are doing on the server!

Fair enough, he should have restarted after the 3minutes was up! Maybe he got his timing wrong, or maybe he watched you go for the heli and decided to be a dick!!

Can you not read or comprehend what I wrote? I don't mean to be hostile, but I am very upset about this event. I'll give you a recap though. He announced for a server restart in 3 minutes. After 45 seconds he either shut down the server or kicked everyone and put a lock on it. The server was still up and running with a lock and there was one person online. IDK if you got that part, but that is not a server reset! Now keep in mind the 45 seconds was not early or random - it hit precisely as we were approaching the crash site!

And to be fair you said he shut the server down. If he shut it down he would have to restart it to get it back up, thus moving the helicopter. I don't think you understand what you wrote, which is why you got the responses that you did.

Trust me bro, I do understand what I wrote. Which is why I'm pretty sure that he just kicked everyone. The reason I'm here is to figure out the details. Responses I got? It was one response lol I hope you're not really in the 82nd Airborne, but if you are then that explains a lot. =)

You seem to have taken too much insult to what Zipper said to actually read it.

Here is what Zipper's compact and eloquent post is expressing to you.

If the admin had "shut the server down" then the helicopter would have despawned, so it would not be there anymore.

Therefore the wording in your original post leads to the obvious conclusion that the admin could not possibly have been looting it, because it wouldn't have been there.

So your rude post towards Marker was uncalled for, as Marker had made the only logical conclusion from your provided information.

Hopefully expressing a 2 lined post in a 8-9 lined post helped you understand better exactly what you wrote; and how you didn't previously understand it.

Now on topic: Did you and your friends recieve a message stating "You have been kicked from the server"

If not, then this was a server restart; and the admin could not possibly have looted the heli.

Are you sure he manually did it or might it have been an automated server restart and he said it would happen in 3 minutes knowing it would happen sooner. Cuz that's a different kinda trolling. Like that old james bond movie where bond tells his teammate the bomb will go off in 6 minutes when he actually set it for 3.

This is exactly why people need to start reading what they wrote in the first place!!

Next time someone explains something to you, dont be so fucking condescending with your response!!
