Short break without disconnecting

Hey!

I just have a little idea.

I have a dog, that need to get out/- and inside every now and then. When HE decide. For his toiletvisits......

So then I thought:

What if you made a button that will make the player take a break for f.eks 3 min. So if you pressed f.ex. "P" your screen would be black with a timer starting to cound down from 03.00. Ingame the player disappears from the game, but would not have any advantages since the screen is black.

Its kind of when you have to go the lobby just to be sure your alive when you go to pee.

But a feature like this needs to have limitations. So if you have been in a PVP fight the last 5 mins, or attacked by zombies the last 1.5 mins, this wont work. Also, these 3 mins. cannot be aborted so you have to wait for 3 min when you have started the break.

This would make the gamers day easier. Pee/snack/dog/phone/etc- breaks :-)

I have to go to the bathroom a lot. Here's my "break" method:

1) Find tree

2) Go prone

3) ???

4) Profit

Making a break mechanic where you'd literally disappear from the game is bad for three reasons:

1) This already exists. Abort, but stay in lobby. You remain in the server, your character disappears, and your load time is cut in half.

2) Too easy to exploit. Hear a player shooting outside your supermarket? *Poof* Wait a bit *Poof* shoot guy in back.

3) Superfluous. If you're taking a 5 minute break, you won't be taking in while in danger (aka zombie attacks, PvP) in the first place. When you're in a safe zone, you don't need your character to disappear (hence the "safe").
