1.7.2.3 servers not running hive 0.6.2.1 or newer

I'm fairly certain I have the latest Hive, yet when I put on a Ghillie/Camo suit, I start to notice this in the logs for myself.

I've also noticed similar behavior for tents/vehicles as it notes that a vehicle cant have a null ID (which would explain why I have tents that keep wiping after every server reset).

I made this post yesterday. I'm assuming this was caused by certain servers i was playing on not having the latest hive version?

Just noticed something weird. I've seen two incidents of me and a friend getting randomly spawned at ocean with all our gear, spawned at wilderness without gear, and then get this... SERVER SPECIFIC LOOT!!

If I join one favorited server all my weapons and stuff are there. If I join ANY other server my loot changes to my previous synced save point from like 3 hours prior, before I got teleported to the beach with nothing.

What in the world is going on? These are desyncing issues right? Been posting before but to remind, I'm running 1.7.2.3 and the 94786 beta build. Please advise.

You are really dumb, this thread is about servers not running the correct version of the hive, and you are talking about some buggy stuff that happend to you?

My advice: Create your own thread/report at devheaven.

i can confirm the heavy desync issues with 1.7.2.3. we (a group of 4) played on two different "lu" servers yesterday

LU servers are actually quite bad, me and a few friends always desync and get different time zones since 1.7.1.5 dont think they update same as uk32 has extremely bad desync and you can duplicate easy on this server this has also been since 1.7.1.5, never complained cus iv enjoyed raiding the tents of the clan on there haha ttill my car blew up hehe

I get my l85a2 aws back when connecting on dayz de6, but i've been changing server, and it has disappear. I connect back to de6, my wep still not in my hands... It's still bugging

@time desync: known issues, not related to daz version and has happened since way back and is a sign server isnt keeping up with serverside FPS.

@ghillie suit desync: seems odd, did not experience this with my playtest tonight. But will require further testing.

Most servers seem to run new hive files, but there are a few one out there who dont.

The main way to catch it is if you get asked to create a new character or you "warp back" to an older character even though you know you already have a character that should be playable.

Solution: go to other server, if you still get the new coasted / itemless character. Click "respawn" and your correct character should be there.

thanks for the info Ander, i was having the "old character" problem last night and i ended up being killed and went to another server and my good character was back

My server will desync time quite often. However, a full restart of the server will leave the game daytime when it's midnight at the server's time. It's strange, I think there's something else going on here.

You are mistaken. Only thing that is really important is to squish bugs and get stable versions etc.

Playin on CZ01 with two buddies. One of them lost AS50 and the other lost SVD-camo, while reconnecting from another server.

EDIT: And one of them keeps spawning unconscious.

The loot syncing issues are usually resolvable by following the instructions Anders already gaves. If the problem persists, you soldier on with what you have. You should be expecting this kind of issues, and you should also be noticing that Rocket and Friends have done an excellent job of taking care of major issues as quickly as possible. For an indie crew that's also running an over half-million player Alpha test, that is bloody impressive.

Delete your beta folder, reinstall ARMA2_OA_Build_94876

The newest beta seems to cause problems. I did this and it works perfectly fine. It might not be instant but it WILL load you in. Takes no more than 4-5 min

No one has said how to check what version of Hive your server has to see if you are up-to-date.... It keeps getting OFF-TOPIC...

If you're worried, re-download the hive package and overwrite your @hive .

If you dont control this, contact your hoster. We offer no thirdparty host support but same rules still apply to everyone hosting :)

hi, don´t know if it´s already known.

you can refill your ammunition(if splitable) by a exploit/bug...

you just have to split and combine a not full mag.

tested with the m1911 and m14 (dmr)
