I just raided a camp with a couple L85's. I grabbed it and was able to shoot it then I left the server and rejoined and still had it. I am guessing they are back in the game now?

Technically they were never intended to be "gone" They were just bugged and ceased to exist for a while.

I found one at a chopper last night, the gear list showed no icons, just the name and I could not get it into my gear but after trying to pick it up I could cycle to it via F key, though it had no model, ammo or sights and did nothing really.

Someone in vent said they found one in a tent on another server as well. I guess it is safe to use them.

Server mine were stored in just upgraded tonight. L85's were in our tents and equipable.
