Gotta run on low settings. if the graphics is turned up it lags. Its playable but the graphics isnt that great on ultra low :D but im having a great time playing. I suggest download the free arma 2, to test on your computer before buying.

I run on a mid-year 2011 Bootcamped Macbook Pro. (Please don't send me hate messages about Mac. I originally got it from school.)

CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-2720QM CPU @ 2.20GHz CPU

CPU Speed: 2.2 GHz Performance Rated at: 6.60 GHz

RAM: 2.3 GB

OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 32-bit

Video Card: AMD Radeon HD 6750M

My video card is integrated so I had to download a catalyst to make it work. If I can play Combined Ops with no problems on high settings I'm sure a lot of PCs can.

Check out: http://www.systemrequirementslab.com it will tell you if your PC can run it with the recommend settings, minimum, or not at all. Hope this helps :)

Asus G75

Intel I7

8GB Ram

240GB SSD Drive

Runs DayZ at high/very high settings without any problem. The SSD drive is amazing, Loads windows in 11 seconds and DayZ in about 1/2 the usual time.

LOL - I use a ThinkPad W530 15in Quadro K2000M 2GB Graphics, I7 3520m - This is my work Laptop and I use it for Gaming (Shhhh) I have a HP EliteBook 8560p which can game but with like BF3 I have to adjust the settings or it gets choppy, but for DayZ I can have Very High settings, I will turn off a couple features to get better FPS.

Here's what I use, max settings on everything with visual range set at 10,000 meters. I run about 15-20 fps so not perfect but for that visual range still pretty darn good. I can see Zub Castle from Stary Sobor.

Asus G53SX Rh-71

Intel Core i7-2670QM (2.2GHz) Processor

8GB DDR3 Memory

15.6" Full HD (1920 x 1080) Display Nvidia GTX 560M 2GB GDDR5 Graphics

1 TB Hard drive. (it's really 2 500gb HD)

I got a ASUS G74SX-BBK9.

The specs are:

Intel i7-2670QM 2.20GHz

8GB RAM

1TB HDD

Nvidia GTX 560M 2GB Video

Not sure what my FPS is but I play DayZ on high havent tried in on very high yet. I havent noticed any lag at all, but I may not have the eye for it. Also play Skyrim on high or the highest setting with out lag even when spinning around a bit too. I believe this laptop will last me a rather long time before I replace it. Just a bit heavy with all the travel I do. And man i cant wait to get home and play.

I have pretty much the same thing, but I think my model number is BB13 or something. ARMA II, Skyrim, Planetside 2, it all runs fine at max or very close to it.

Also to add, I was running on an older laptop. Specs for that were

ASUS G50VT

Intel Core 2 Duo, 2.0 GHz

4gb DDR2

GeForce 9800M 512MB

320gb HD

I was able to run it fairly well with some lag spikes. Visual range was about 2500 meters on medium settings. Not the greatest setup but still worked just fine.

I played Dayz on my Macbook Pro 13" Mid 2010 (It only has a Dual-Core, some 330mb Graphic Card and 4gb ram) on an external full HD 24" Monitor (Samsung Syncmaster).

I had to use the lowest graphic settings with full resolution but only like 50% of 3D-Resolution. It didnt look very well but it was playable and i had fun with this mod for several weeks.

So i guess almost every laptop which is now up to date should easily be able to run this game even on external monitors.
