I'm starting to see MANY posts with recurring themes..."Can I run it?"...."What do I expect?"...."WHY DON'T I HAVE A GUN I SAW A GUN IN THAT ONE VIDEO?"

Thanks to the lovely Summer Steam Sale, we're getting so many more new survivors/bandits coming in and in an effort to keep the forums a bit cleaner it'd be nice if you'd just look around a bit and search for your answer. I can assure you within 5-10 minutes of searching you'll find your answer and won't have to clutter up the forums with the same questions resulting in the same answers. And remember, there are specific forums for specific questions/topics/problems. You know such as, "Troubleshooting" forum for tech problems and questions. I really don't like seeing the "General Discussion" forum have threads that shouldn't be in there.

It's nice to see such great exposure for this mod. Just remember it's alpha and there are many problems with it, and if it's happening to you? Well...I'm sure it's happening to someone else too :P.

Give it a week or so worth of spamming questions and complaints and then it will be back to normal. Hell even the IRC jump 100% more people in it since the steam sale launched.

Doesn't really help because getting to ArmA2 is in its own completely different league from every other game on the planet.

i did it for 3 games i have. diablo 3 (which failed) L4D2 (which failed) and mercenaries 2 (which failed) but i know for a FACT that each of these games can run flawlessly on my computer. im not saying it isnt completely inaccurate, but i dont think its 100% on the mark :)

No of course not. But it's nice to have a ballpark idea. At least then it's someplace to start comparing. Or give you an idea of if you want to try the demo out or not.

true, true. im able to run the demo as well decently (not flawlessly) so once my parents will let me, im in this game :)

it helps if you tone down the graphics as well
