Headshot damage value?

I'd like to know what the multiplier is from a headshot. is it a flat x2? or is there a more deeper calculation?

How much more damage do you think you'd take if someone shot you in the face rather than your leg? It's kind of like that.

that still doesnt give me a value. leg shots and toe shots and finger shots and chest shots wether in the heart or not also share 1 value.

and i know a headshot doesnt garuantee a kill. being at 11L of blood. a revolver took of 9L so i concluded this is 2x damage. but a L85a2 Aws with 3555 dmg, i gave 1 headshot, 1 body shot. on 12L using the 2x damage value for the headshot, he shold have lost 10.665L however he die from it and it was 100% sure at 12L the time between shots was 1.5 seconds, and im pretty sure he didnt lose 1.4L of bleed effects during that time. therfor either the damage value of the L85 isnt 3555. or headshot damage is higher in assault rifles.

Also let's not compare Reall life to a simulator. cause a hatchet in the face surely would kill you. but it doesnt in dayz.

I'm almost sure that it's a 1 shot kill regardless. I've 1 shot people with a 9mm before. I don't think there is an assigned value for "headshot". Its possible there are glancing blows or neck reg hits or what-not but I'm fairly certain if the game registers a hit as a "Headshot" you just die. Sorry I can't provide values.

Thats what I do not like about A2.Supposed high realism but you can't one shot kill a person with a pistol if you hit them in the head.Same with leg shots being the same damage as torso shots.

.... it is always 1 shot kill in the head.. regardless of the weapon.

but i agree with you that the leg and torso damage is somewhat unrealistic but it provides more performance due to the fact that they don't need more hitboxes.
