Less ammo, matchs run out?

I noticed once it gets past the survival gear gear stage, and you got a nice gun, its to easy.

Now without making it to hard for starters off by making Zeds to powerful how about we make ammo much more scarce? i mean i have an SD wepon ATM and i have 2 clips for ammo, thats all and then its to the hatchet and i like this, it makes me sneak and think about my shots so what if we do this for all wepons?

Don't make it as rare as SD ammo since thats a problem with those wepons, ammo count and that makes it part of the draw backs to choosing it but make ammo spawn less so that people dont treat it such as a gun fest and more of survival??

Another suggestion is matches run out, this will force players to go into dangerous places to gather more matches? maybe the hunting knife needs to be sharpend etc?

Ammo is still refilling itself magically when you log out.

Lets fix that before we talk about how scarce ammo is in the game, because right now I don't think anyone has any idea how scarce some of it actually is. Logging out with 2/30 rounds in a STANAG clip and logging back in to a full clip accounts for a lot of the reason why people don't feel pressed for ammo at the moment.

i agree and i doubt we can do the matches idea because of this but do you agree that it would make it harder? plus its alpha so we should experiment

It isn't logical that one would need to get more matches. The average box has 50 or 100 matches in it, and the amount of fires one lights in one life, assuming one match per fire which is entirely possible, would mean that one box would be enough.

How ever you can carry a main rotar assembly in your backpack, why? for game fun, i think we should do this because it makes the game more fun

Err, why isn't it logical that you'd run out of matches? If you loot a body that has been using them then there's a good chance that at some point your going to need some more. I think it's a good idea, forcing people to have to take risks to get some more. Otherwise once your geared up there's no incentive to raid a shop other than for fun.

Personally, I think he's right. I don't think I've ever been alive long enough to use up 100 matches and the 90% of matches I find are fresh spawns, not looted from others.

I think there should be around 20 matches, now this IS unrealistic but from gameplay point of view would add suspense and worry of using them
