Using only 1 core? Performance questions

Ive looked in probably every performance thread there is. I even set up a 7 gig ramdisk.

DayZ and even just Arma 2 seemingly only use about 1 core of my quad core AMD.

core 1 sits around 3%

core 2 sits around 98%

core 3 sits around 10%

core 4 sits around 5%

GPU usage goes to 100% Edit: not consistently 100%

Even in the city of Cherno in JUST arma 2 in the editor, I get about 25 FPS, with the cpu never going above those percents. Wtf?

put this into startup parameters "-cpuCount=4 -exThreads=7" tell me if it helps you

Adding those 2 puts my fps at 27 FPS above trees and such outside of any cities while in a helicopter, with cpu cores all about equal, with a combined percent of around 58%. Gpu wont go above 33%.

In cherno, fps drops to about 15FPS and gpu usage drops to 25%. Cpu usage jumps to 64%

so it doesnt improve for you? cause 15 fps in city seems to be not an improvement ^^
