Is it possible to lock gamma & brightness on the server side???

No, and it would be a stupid idea. Everyone's monitors / TV's are differernt and people prefer (or in my case, need!) different levels to suit their eyesight, comfort levels etc.

Even if they locked the in-game options you can simply adjust the actual options for the monitor / TV you are using!

A few patches ago it was fixed so you couldn't adjust your brightness/gamma to make the night as bright as day (you could still adjust it, but it didn't dramatically affect darkness). Now, for no reason I could figure out, you can adjust your brightness/gamma to make the night as bright as day. Is this intentional? I've been searching for an answer to this ever since it was reverted.
