Maintaining wire fences?

I was told you have to maintain it otherwise they eventually disappear. How does one do that, if that's even possible?

I think this was a suggestion but currently they stay on the server until removed (with a toolbox)

I think you need to water it daily and some people are convinced talking to it in a soft and calm way helps. But that's just hearsay, not sure.

nah they come back after server restart but then they randomly disappear even new ones.
