Add an option to filter the server list by the server's in game time of day.

Recommended Posts

Add a filter option to the server list that allows for players to search for servers based on their in game time. Some servers advertise this in their name already, which is searchable, but it would be nice to be able to see the time zone to any server before I log into it.

Just look at the little flag that represents the country the server is in.

For example; If you're in the US, playing in a german/swedish server tends to let you have night-time most of the time.

Bad idea, you will have unplayable high ping when trying this to avoid darkness in your area.

But there are always servers with changed time setting like a german GMT-8 server (instead of the GMT+1 we have). So sorting by ping and filtering by time would be great

Even if you have like 500 ping, you will have no problem playing. Assuming you're playing solo.

Because zombies are controlled locally, so shooting them is not hard even under heavy lag, same thing with general movement.

Only time where you might find problems when playing with high ping, is other players and looting, as items will take a few seconds to get into your inventory.
