DeadHead (DayZ)

Huge zombie fan, will my laptop be able to play it?

Recommended Posts

Not quite enough information, but the 6 gigs will be okay.

Only way to truly test it, is to play the free version.

Grab arma 2 free, install it, and load up the game into boot camp. If you can run around and have no fps lag then you will be fine. You'll most likely have to play with the video settings it looks like though

Most likely you will not be able to play without lag. I own an A6 series APU laptop as well. It's fairly powerful as far as entry level goes... but it wont really be strong enough to run Day-Z without a low frame-rate even on low everything.

ur Ram And graphics card is great, your Processor im guessing is AMD A6 3400m is not so great 1.4GHz is what that Processor will dish out while its not over Clocked if u over clock it (which will make ur laptop get really hot) you will get atleast 2.1GHz minimum for the game to run smooth-ish is 2.6 GHz

@ Jasmer, but it's a quad core, doesn't that count for something? I think it runs 2.4 GHz
