Admin Global Chat Server Restar Warning

Hello,

I host a server with HFG Servers, and I am looking for a way to give players on the server a warning in Global Chat before restarting the server. I don't have Global Chat enabled (haven't figured out how to enable/disabled that), and Ideally I would like to do this without having Global Chat enabled for everyone. Any ideas?

It's easy to do so with RCon or you can access the global channel while logged into admin in-game.

There are many ways to accomplish this; the easiest being using a tool like RCON to just remotely connect and administrate your server.

You can use Bercon to do it from outside the game.

I can do it with the Global Channel in-game but how do you do it with the RCon? The say command in RCon doesn't work for me in DayZ.

Get bercon and do:

Say -1 text here

Ah I didn't know you had to do the -1 thing, I was just using Say text

I use the arma 2 rcon. It works for me and its easy.
