Jimmy McNulty 98 Posted July 12, 2012 Well, I've watched a tutorial that was posted here a long time ago...but I've never opened a single crashed heli. I managed to find maybe 10 helicopters, spent like 20-30 minutes on each trying to get inside...never succeeded. Maybe its because of the server I usually play on? Dunno. Any tips? radosm 15 Posted July 12, 2012 You cant open them. There is loot scattered around the crash site, but you can never open the heli. Also the loot is very close to the chopper so dont go looking 100m around the heli. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
dallas 5195 Posted July 12, 2012 It's a myth.As I see it, each helicopter crash site spawns three loot piles randomly in a small area around the helicopter. Some piles spawn below the trail, some in the grass around it, some below the floor of the helicopter. You're not actually opening the gear menu of the crashed helicopter, you're just accessing a loot pile somewhere below it. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
