What kind of ammo does the AS50 take?

I found an AS50 at a Crash Site but I've never seen ammo for it ever before, does it take DMR or something?

False. Is your M16 ammo called 5.56 nato? AK rounds called 7.62 nato? no they are not. Even though it is in the description, it is not the name.

I like how you word this to try and make yourself sound intelligent when infact, the rounds -are- called 12.7x99mm NATO when using the default AS50 ammo. Not the description, that's what's -in- your inventory when you look. Try and do a little research instead of talking out your ass.

yeah Zed is right. The AS-50 magazines are called 5Rnd 12.7x99mm NATO I believe, and you can also use M107 magazines. There isn't any difference between the two except the fact that M107 magazines hold 10 rounds, where as the AS-50s hold 5. In the files, it supposedly states that the AS-50 5 round magazines do an extreme amount of damage, but that holds no water in DayZ against players.
