Kimsufi 16G to hold a DayZ server?

Recommended Posts

I personally wouldn't go over 50. There's many hive desync issues at the moment with mine and many others. You could probably host 2 - 40 slotters on a single box if your weren't doing anything else on the and the 100ms is accurate.

how about reading the stickys?

The sticky doesn't mention alternative slots for specific setups. Just says specs recommended for a 40 slot.

I did. probably 4 times, both of them.

Yet I wanted to ask, as 4 cores of 3GHz+ for a single server seemed a bit off, way off IMO.

Thanks for the answers guys, I will go with that server and give it a go.

Check with a DayZ staff member before you order because I'm not sure if they're only 100% approving those with 3.0ghz cores or higher. Mine fortunately was already 3.4ghz. I'd hate for you to buy it and your request to get denied even though that server should be plenty powerful.
