Xelpherpolis 32 Posted July 12, 2012 Yes it would hold DayZ with no problems at all.
Dekken 2 Posted July 12, 2012 Thanks for the quick answer. How many slots do you think that specific server can hold?Or what about the 24GB plan?http://www.kimsufi.co.uk/ks/
azunai 32 Posted July 12, 2012 how about reading the stickys?
Lith 80 Posted July 12, 2012 I personally wouldn't go over 50. There's many hive desync issues at the moment with mine and many others. You could probably host 2 - 40 slotters on a single box if your weren't doing anything else on the and the 100ms is accurate.
Lith 80 Posted July 12, 2012 how about reading the stickys? The sticky doesn't mention alternative slots for specific setups. Just says specs recommended for a 40 slot.
Dekken 2 Posted July 12, 2012 how about reading the stickys?I did. probably 4 times, both of them.Yet I wanted to ask, as 4 cores of 3GHz+ for a single server seemed a bit off, way off IMO.Thanks for the answers guys, I will go with that server and give it a go. Mine fortunately was already 3.4ghz. I'd hate for you to buy it and your request to get denied even though that server should be plenty powerful.
