Recommended Posts

Okay so what would you call a bandit and what kinda bandit are you how do you play and witch players do you kill as in would you kill some one with a DMR if there just cruzing through the bush, just so you know they wont be a threat or will you take the chance and let them live, do you kill unarmed players, do you protect unarmed players, toy with them, mug people with out killing them, kill anyone, camp for the kill.

im a survivor by the way just want to know if there are Honorable bandits out there.

It depends how you want to be a bandit. I generally kill anyone that I dont know but i'm starting to let the unarmed players go as I feel quite bad if they really are new and only just got to a town before getting destroyed. There is no ROE

As soon as you kill a survivor, you can call yourself a bandit.

Now, all these old fart veterans are gonna flame me, and say that becoming a bandit is all about intentions of killing, robbing, betraying, having patience, etc. etc. -

Sorry, I'll have to blast your confidence into oblivion, and claim your arguements invalid.

When player A kills an innocent player (ie. fresh unarmed spawn), he'll get a murder.

If that player B now comes and kills Player A, who has one murder on his list, the Player B will now get a 'bandit kill' instead of a 'murder' on his debug monitor.

Huh??

1 murder or more = Bandit

Reply to this post without an agreement to my statement = Jelly.

You 'seniors' should really call it something else than bandit, perhaps elite mercenary or something.

A true bandit doesn't care whether a survivor thinks he's honorable or not.

Unless he DCs in firefights or server hops. Then he can go die in a fire.

We should all hate people who DC in firefights. I was getting sniped at in Electro a week ago with some random survivor (in my defense I probably would have killed this guy anyways once finding loot). The sniper shoots and he instantly DC and I run into a building. I hear shots and I wait for a little, the sniper might be dead and I have nothing to lose so I leave the building and the guy ends up respawning around the same time. He runs up and says that was crazy on global and my response was to tell him DC is for assholes and shot him on the spot.

3 rules

1. shoot first ask questions later

2. have no remorse, always assume that the other player is gonna kill you if you dont kill them (in most cases they will try to kill you anyways).

3. kill everyone who isnt on your team chat,

and if you accidently kill anyone on your teamchat, refer to rule's 1 and 2

The only issue with this is that if the innocent player had been armed and fired back and killed player A, he would receive a murder even though he was only defending himself. He's technically a bandit but really hasn't "murdered" anyone.
