frackinabox 1 Posted July 12, 2012 (edited) So before I decide to buy Arma 2 CO for DayZ, i need to know if my graphics card is even capable of running it. I have a NVIDIA GT220. Yes, yes I know it is old and don't go nagging at me at how garbage this card is but I am asking if I will be able to run this game at a steady 30fps or even more on low to medium settings. Thanks :) Edited July 12, 2012 by frackinabox

mullo 7 Posted July 12, 2012 I'm playing with a shitty card. Tweak the settings mate.
EO 42 Posted July 12, 2012 All the Arma games are more demanding on your CPU rather than purely your graphics card, although a decent graphics card won't hurt
BadCarti 5 Posted July 12, 2012 Try GameBooster if you can't run on the Lowest Settings.
WilkyWilks 44 Posted July 12, 2012 Girlfriend plays on a 9800 gtx that I had lying around. It'll work with pretty "low end" cards (i.e. cards that came out after the game released) but you'll definitely need to fiddle with the options for awhile to find the right balance between playability and glamour that the game is capable of.
