quick question

I bought arma 2 (standard) last year, and a few weeks ago my friend told me all about this mod and i went to download it and found out i need arma 2 combined operations, now my question is, do i have to buy the whole combined operations, or can i just buy the operation arrowhead expansion then get day-z?

Just OA for other people you can use arma2free and buy OA and that works to

No, you can just install Arma 2, then Arma 2 AO and then run them as CO by adding a line to your shortcut.

When you've installed all the beta patches you'll be provided with a shortcut (to start Arma 2 with the beta patch); here you add: CA;@Dayz.
