IMPOSSIBLE to get rid of zombies, way too fast !

ive been playing for a while and it is one of my fav mods, but theres one problem with the zombies.

its almost IMPOSSIBLE to get rid of them, even though the "out of sight" system is on, its very buggy, one time i raned like 10 minutes trying to get rid of them, and i did, i was out of their sight, but the still caught me, even when i was hiding in a building.

they just walked in and ran over me !

and i was really far away from them.

the system is very glitchy :(

so basiclly im suggesting to fix this bug, or make them slower, or even make theyre "sight" a little shorter !

please consider this suggestion, give me your thoughts.

im sure that in real life they are MUCH slower, just sayin

i agree, they move way to fast and are impossible to out run

im sure that in real life they are MUCH slower

i've seen real life zombies and theyre nowhere near as fast as the ones in this mod, give the players a fair chance over these superhuman zombies and let us have the ability to out run them

It sounds to me that you're just running around randomly and expecting the zombies to just slow down or give up. At the moment, that's not going to happen.

Suggestions:

Run into a house with TWO Exits: When zombies cross the threshold into a building they become shamblers. at this point, you should leave the building through exit #2. Then crouch to avoid detection and lose them.

Hills are your friends: zombies can only walk up steep hills. When you encounter a hill that forces you to slow down, run diagonally back and fourth up the hill, and make a distance.

Also, if you are being chased downhill, zombies will freak out, trip and fall over dead sometimes. It's awesome.

You can lose them if you run up hills, they have probkems will hills. Brfeaking line of sight doesn't really do much as they will keep searching for you, though you can use thing like small buildings as well, run in, wait for the Zed to slow down through the doorway and when it does you run away out the other door.

The zombies will be made slower eventually, once they have developed proper animations for them. At the moment the speed & erratic movement comes from the fact that Rocket just adjusted the "speed" setting for character movement higher than was intended by the ArmA II engine, not the best way for it to work but it does the job for now at least.

You can get away from zombies, they already released an update. Once they lose line of sight they stop chasing you.

-Ofcourse consider that this is still not a perfect system and still buggy, but you CAN get away from them.

STILL IN ALPHA, stop complaining about Bugs/Glitches it will be fixed.
