Rakkasan 23 Posted July 12, 2012 (edited) The one thing all zombie movies and books seem to have in common. Once you are biten, you are doomed. As it is now you can get eaten and injured. I think a feature where the player can be biten and infected would add to the element that this is an actual zombie mod. Also there is no cure (well I haven't seen too many zombie flicks where there is one). So it will be the players choice to tell his friends or others that he/she is biten.So basically, player could become infected, and will eventually die. What he/she does in between that time could be up to the player. Might affect how people play aswell knowing if they shoot at each other, risking drawing zombies to them and being bit. Even a disconnect could not affect an infection. I don't know, just seems this should be part of the zombie apocalypse.Maybe the player would turn into a zombie, at which that point would die and lose control of their character. So could just respawn leaving his zombie body to wreak havoc with the rest of the zeds. Although it would be fun to watch yourself turn into zombie and chase your friends, if you didnt tell them. Either way it was really nothing to worry about, as all I did was cough and annoy my friends. I like the unconscious system in place now. And player should aware of zombies/infected more, than of another players.But, there is always a "but" hiding next corner. It's still ARMA 2, with its bugs. It's a game, where AI cannot behave like human. And, finally, if we'll spawn about a million of infected, people/players find a way to avoid zed's hazard ability to infect, by using some exploits or something.As for now, doors more dangeroes than Z. Rakkasan 23 Posted July 12, 2012 Haha nope. Blood bags and cooked meat. What is weird is it just eventually went away. Never found anti-biotics. I have wandered into Berezino to loot hospital once with 1200 blood passing out randomly. It was a stressful situation because none of my friends were online. So I needed a blood bag or matches whichever I could aquire first, but I knew if I got zed aggro it was do or die. Found matches and went hunting. Passed out about 8 times lol. Again, that is what I love about this mod, the survival element. The zombies do not scare me at all though, that is I have plenty of med supplies. Only reason I was so jacked up to begin with is, I crashed my motorcycle into a tree and barely survived the explosion. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

You could get infected and eventually turn into a zombie... nice surprise for the other players.But I don't know if it would work in this game/mod that well? Yes, it is a big part of the fiction, but being likely of getting infected every time you encounter a zombie, would that be too frustrating? Broken bones were a pain (not anymore, since I always stock up 5 morphine lol. Call me paranoid) any they would break at all the slightest hits.Or, alternatively, here's some backstory for you;Chernarus got hit by a rabies-like illness.Most people devolved. Not Home 3 Posted July 12, 2012 Yep this would be cool but also frustrating like having your legs broken by a glitch if every time u got hit u were infected. I've never had a playthrough where i didn't get hit once by a z.My vote is to become infected if u get hit by a zombie while your blood is below a certain point, for example 6000.
