A couple questions

Recommended Posts

Do maps track your position when in towns? I saw on a server when I was in chernogorsk, that my position was marked as "survivor" along with the field hospital, both in blue on the map.

what do crows mean? does it mean bandit nearby? or simply "you're not alone" or "someone has been here before"?

I have more though

Think it depends on the server whether you see such in maps, but most of the time myself i need GPS to see my own location. I'm not 100% Sure haven't played for too long.

True. Some servers use 'veteran' settings; here you can see your own position on the ingame map.

The crows, I think you mean the crows circling in the sky? AFAIK it's just ambient wildlife, it doesn't mean a thing.

A long time ago I spawned as a seagull though; but that was because of serverissue's at that time. It was nice to fly over Chernarus, seeing it from the sky :-)

I see, maybe I'm a bit overparanoid but I've read somewhere that crows mean something, except they didn't tell what

btw are there different hive character data for regular and veteran modes?
