I'm ExplodingToaster. New to the game, haven't actually launched the mod yet and got acclimated to the controls in the Arma 2 storyline. Hurrow, I am etmer. Bought the game just to play DayZ. I heard about DayZ for quite some time, but Seananners inspired me to buy the game. He always tends to inspire me to buy games (He made me buy Minecraft on it's alpha stage, to be ironic to DayZ.) I always want to be on the good side, the one who helps people, though it is hard to maintain at times.

I am very anti-bandit, also very cowardly. Fear can kill an innocent man, and the thought of losing all my stuff because of another player does bring fear. Pretty much, I am a wuss, being nervous all the time.

If you see me on the field, remember that I am friendly. If you are unarmed feel free to ask for help from me, but sneaking up on me triggers instinct.

Hello I'm Duo,

New survivor to this world - Hooked up with another survivor - HP, who safed my sorry thirsty ass a few dayz ago...

We've had several thrilling moments though rather simple, but quite tense for someone new to this world...

Yesterday we found a survivors body, first we heard the flies, then the smell. the body was still warm and blood was flowing from the corpse...

It was in the middle of the woods but not far from a deer stand. I was whispering to my friend: "don't go near him!", he insisted on closing in.

What or who had killed this poor guy. Was it a bandit? As we went on, we decided that if we met any other survivors nearby we would shot first, and ask later...

The adventures of this world are terrifying and satisfying at the same time. The thrill of looting a barn with Z's all over and suddenly hearing gunshots outside, quickly sneaing out the back and running for the hills without being seen, and actually get away... addicted to it already...

Still trying to decide which server I'll cling to...

Hey guys, Quikill87 here. Been playing this for a few days lone wolf style and I have to say I'm loving it. Was a bit nervous at first, but I got the ropes of the game down pretty good so far. Since I've been playing lone wolf, I avoid other players out of fear lol. When ever I see players, I hide simply because I don't know if I can trust them. I've gone through hell getting used to this game and collecting items so that's why I'm a bit antisocial atm. As I warm up, I'll definitely be the kind of guy looting with groups and trading/giving away equipment. I have NO INTENTIONS of becoming a bandit. I know the hell it takes to build up a character alone, so I wouldn't want to spoil anyone's efforts. See you all out there, or rather, watching you from the distance :)

I'm working on putting together a gaming computer with the intent of mainly playing Day Z. I saw so many of the users posting youtube videos and fell in love with what I saw. I was also able to play DayZ(albeit on extremely terrible settings on my laptop) and I could feel that this atmosphere was something unique. My main standpoint on playing will be that of a wary good samaritan. But I've seen that there are a lot of situations that become shoot on sight(in relations to gear, the nature of encounter, and desperation) so that standpoint will be adjusted. For the most part, I won't try to be a bandit unless absolutely necessary. I have a couple of IRL friends that are looking to come into the game with me. I am not opposed to meeting people in game or forum and adding them to a small dedicated group. I look forward to playing this game with all of you.
