To be able to build/gather more stuff, in order to loose more stuff when I die.

To have some kind of In-game media/tool for players to build themselves safe havens, so that they can loose it.

And then, drama loads of it.

I want an authentic zombie simulation. For the most part I'm happy with it, but being able completely traverse 225 square km at a full-on run without stopping or slowing bothers me, as well as doors being completely ineffective against AI and buildings not being enterable.

what we saw in the first months of dayz and more cars.

now its crap piled on top of more crap, with barbed wire and bear traps sprinkled on top. And super zombies that pull aggro further than I can see. Sometimes. It's really inconsistent. Ranges from 30m to 200m.

Hello there

Mainly I want a stable (ie one I can actually get in to a server) game to test out.

There is alot I don't agree with in dayz (from gamplay descisions to attitudes) but on the whole it's a fun little alpha and it's interesting to follow the changes.

But connecting, for me, has been somewhat of an on/off trial for many months, not just with this patch.

I didn't have to pay anything for this mod so I don't have a need to demand anything from it, I just play it for what it is, and enjoy the ride as things change. Been playing it for around two months now and seen a lot change already.

It's not about 'wanting' anything from it, we're here to test the game and highlight the bugs, not whinge and moan because stuff breaks or we don't have this or that feature.

I don't want anything other than to be able to keep playing it for what it is.

yet you hope the core characteristics are gonna stay, even if the child has grown into a mature being.

i want dayz to keep its core characteristics, even though i am in no way related to development :D

I want it to play like a Zombie Survival game and not what it is at the moment. I've read a few comments by rocket that seems to indicate that he indeed intends it to be primarily PvP with some zombies on the side. Well, if that's the case then it's horribly mislabeled. It should just be called "Survive" and zombies should be removed. In which case I see no reason to play it.
