Dancing(animations) in DayZ??

Recommended Posts

Hey, guys.

I've been watching for some youtube videos on my language, about DayZ. And watched one where a guy was "dancing".

So, the first thing I thought. "WOOOW!! I wanna dance at Cherno's roofs!! And party hard with some flares..." Would be so funny to make a video of this, so I googled for this.

And found some info:

1- A way to do it with a script;

2- Installing a addon;

So, my question is.

Are these ilegal methods? Or something that would get me banned?

p.s.: if it is something Ilegal I really won't try it, but I do wanna know if it is or is not.

(NOTE: the guy said that he was with his leg broken and suddenly all of his group(apparently all the server) began to dance, so, I don't know what happened, but I know that in Arma2 you can use some tools to make it)

=)

The funniest part? His character was black.

The door for so many stereotypical jokes was opened up with this video. LOL

The dancing animations are built into the vanilla game. They're triggered by scripts.

Running non-Dayz scripts will risk you getting banned.

GD dancer hack was triggered as I was hiding from some Zeds. Cost me a good character.

It's a video from Brazil, i can translate what they are saying, and first of all, the guy didn't start any scripts according to him it might have been an admin who has acess to these scripts and triggred it around the server for fun. Basically when it started he found it funny, and recorded.

I just wish I could make myself dance like that in the game without using anything 3rd party. The animations are in game. Let me trigger em.
