Man, i'm not "justifying" bandits! It's my personal opinion that if you are role playing as a bandit you do not KOS! But, ok, if you think so. . . The point Im trying to show is that role playing is one thing and casual playing is another, and both are totally different. Let's take the exemple of PvP, if you are role playing as a SURVIVOR(and this is how I play) you wont KOS, cause irl you wont do so! You understand that now? Or are you just trolling what I said? =)

Well, it's been a while since the last time i've been on chernarus! Me and the clan been playing Origins for a long time, and why?! Because the experience of different zombies, a increased number of them, was a litle bit harder than what we experienced on DayZ! But now, with this new update, at least for me, this is a whole new point on the game play! It is now a zombie apocalypse, zombies are to be feared now! You now really have to survive! This is pretty ballanced for me, and no changes to it(except the fact of zombie bugs like attacking through walls, but if you are smart you can avoid most of this) will make the game play better. Ok, a litle bit harder next time, but for now, you need to be smart, you need to think straight forward for each step you perform. The game now is almost perfect! The problem, is and lways was, the players. OP stated it right! I like PvP, I do like war games, and I really like the aspect of some ArmAII's mods like Wastelands and Domination, but no other game provides the experience of survival that DayZ provides! So, you can really separate players in two categories: 1- The ones that really want to survive, to struggle for it's life, and do perform the role of survivorors and/or bandit(yes, to be a bandit is to perform a role). So, for those guys the game is more about fighting for your own life than about Cherno/Elektro PvP-Runs and ruining someone's char(and game play); 2- The ones I call Psycho's. Those Cherno/Elektro "PvP'ers", "snipers" and "bandits" that most often ruins the 1's game play and, coincidently, call themselves bandits!! Bandit's arent those that KOS, neither those guys who act like psychopaths and kill everything on sight, they are the ones that steal your stuff from your camp, those that "gently" tell you to drop your gun and hand over some stuff. Well, from what I know, this is a bandit. I hate them, but you need to separate what is a bandi from what is a psycho idiot! That being said, the "2's" clearly most often are the guys whose complaints about "harder" patches are seen on this forum. And,as OP stated, those guys are playing the wrong game! They do not get the same fun I do from surviving and, i.e. walking slowly all the way through a city or village. Conclusion: THIS PATCH IS PERFECT! I really appreciate more changes like this. The only cons are the zombi bugs, but as I mentioned, you can avoid it pretty well. p.s.: sorry for my really bad english.

Well. I dont have a server anymore, so this way I cannot test if the server glitched or just if the tents didnt saved. Yesterday Ive got some tents to store food and ammo, and pitched it. Today, I logged on and cant see the tents. So, a old question remains. Are the tents saving or not? Or it was just a normal Restart Bug? Im worried about it.

By putting the ones you have on a tent hidden in the forest! lol

Thank you, guys who liked the idea, its nice to see a good feedback. I hope we can move on with this, trading as much as we can. We are frequently searching for gear to sell/trade. Remembering that if you dont have MDs, you can always use other items, and as we constantly need more guns it will be very nice if you trade some for what you need. =)

Maybe you are right. I could be thinking the wrong way, but stop using MDs as currency, one thing I already did before between my friends, wont stop players from duping. And, besides, guys who would really like to trade, and play the game without exploiting it, wont dup Mountain Dews. What if I use 5rnd AS50 ammo? People will dup it any way, even Makarov Mags. This is why we can refuse or not using Mountain Dews as currency. p.s.: The reason why my grammar sucks is because I learned english by myself. Im not American and English isnt my native language.

But wait. would I trade ammo for NVGs? Wich ammo? Come one, man. I wont trade 96 Cocas for a NVG! If you judge yourself so smart reconsider reading the post again. So, this way, we are proud to announce the Chernarus Scavenge & Trade Guild. Who we are?: We are players who will scavenge through all the map looking for what you want and will be trading with you. We do not seek profit, or real money, or services for us. We seek interactions with other players other than a shootout and a massacre. We are looking for items, Mountain Dews and to have fun! Nice! But what do you sell/trade?: Well, we trade whatever you want. You ask we search, we find, we trade. If you dont have what we need, you can always pay with money... oops... Mountain Dews. Yes!! The one and only money for us is called Mountain Dew. That green-canned, refreshing soda, you usually wont find, one of the rarest items in-game(See below for our prices), is what we will use as money(in-game). I am a little confused. How it all works?: Well, its simple. You contact us(skype: chernarusstg ; with a single "Trade" msg) and we will contact you. Of course you can post here what you want, but to trade with us, to complete all the steps, you will have to add the skype described before. Hah! I already tryed to trade with other guys and I got a bullet in my head. How can I be sure you are not one of them?: First of all, we have no need to kill you. We already reached the end-game, most of us already experienced a long life ingame(10+ days), and the only thing we want is to put some more difficulty and objectives to the game, aswell some more fun(as most of us love commerce). So, we dont want shootouts and we dont want to kill any player. We just want to have fun doing what we mostly appreciate on MMOs: scavenging and trading. I personally love the commercial side of games and I want to stimulate it on DayZ, but in a natural way. Well, I am convinced, but how can I trade with you, what is your protocol? If you have one.: Our protocol is quite simple. 1- You add the skype: chernarusstg . 2- You ask me or my friends whatever items do you want. We check availability. If we have it.... Nice! We will pass to the next step. Otherwise you wait a few hours. (Note: We could, sometimes, need some items other than Mountain Dews to trade for what you want. This is why we do need you to contact us through skype); 2.1- If we do not have the item we will search for it(or try to trade for it) in the next 48 hours. So, the price will mostly depend on how much time we will spend looking for it. After the 48 hours, each 12h fraction will add one more MD to the price, or we can discuss it, if you do have something we want.; 3- We confirm. And set up a place and time to trade the Items.(Note: It is advisable you to bring another guy with you, this way we can affirm the mutual trust); 4- As soon as we stabilish contact, you will have to follow our trading protocol, ever with your gun down(2x Ctrl by default), that consists in: 1- We put the Items you want on the tent. one of us will be guarding. 2- You approach and put what we asked for on the trading tent, with your buddy guarding your side. 3- One of us will check, and you will check if whatever we putted in is correct. Bud, your work is amazing, but all you say, contradicts something you wrote in the begining of your text. Any of these skill will actually give advantages over other players. Be it in combat or not. And this isnt right, since the game is made to make you accumulate your own skills using your brain, not a char. sheet. This is what differs DayZ from any other games. Actually, what you learn, your strategy, how many food you need to cross X kilometers, is more important than whatever advantage you can achieve. Actually, the amount of time you spend eating canned food, wont make your body to better process it, it will give you a large array of problems, mainly on your stomach and intestines(sorry for my shitty english). In certain moments I hate not to have a skill, or some sort of advantage, but right after this moment of angry I am thankful to play a game that what mostly makes me live is what I learned from several hours of gameplay, just like IRL.
