Okay so I just downloaded the beta patch 94700 and tried logging into a vetern server with patch 1.7.2 update and its giving me that error message once im logged in. The one in faint white letters saying I have the incorrect version. 1.7.1.5. But I downloaded beta patch 94700? Therefore Shoulnd't My game be updated to 1.7.2?

Only if you've downloaded and correctly put in 1.7.2 DAYZ mod files too. Downloading the beta file isn't anything to do with the dayz install, it's arma 2 beta files.

Download all rars here and extract them to @Dayz/addons replace all and rejoin.

These are the files you need to update DayZ...

Affected addons:

* dayz_code 1.7.2

* dayz 1.3.1

* dayz_equip 1.3.4

* dayz_anim 0.3

Servers running 1.7.2 will also use beta 94700.

Joining a server with non matching builds will corrupt your data.
