2 difficulty levels?

Recommended Posts

Yo. Perhaps we should think about two difficulty levels.

The current difficulty level is more or less at its limits for new players to learn the game.

On the other hand the "surviving part" and dealing with zombies is a piece of cake for every

advanced player.

Would it be a viable solution to have two different server types?

One with plenty of ammo and weapon spawns, lots of food, less zombie damage...

And the real DayZ where Rocket can be as sadistic as he pleases to be.

What do you think? Do you see any other solution how to make the game harder for experienced players while have it accessible for new players?

No, because everyone would play the easy mode then log on to the harder mode.

This is a bad, bad idea. The game is supposed to be ridiculously hard.

There should be an "easy mode" and a "normal mode".

If you click "normal", it loads into the current game. If you click "easy" it uninstalls the game and voids your CD key.

If you click easy mode a large, retractable phallic member should lunge out of your seat and into your rectum, then a message should be displayed on screen that calls you a fag and asks if you 'enjoy it in the butt'.

As it's supposed to be a realistic survival game there should be no difficulty levels to choose from, it's either one way or the highway!

Ya it's called "Cherno" or "Not Cherno".

You mean 40 fps vs 15 fps? Yeah...

Would be a good idea if Gear was not transferable from one difficulty level to another and all hard difficulty servers should run on the hardest server settings as-well (no 3rd / no ch / no tags / no shift click map / no side chat)

More sniped in the bean, or not. My puter handles cherno fine.
