DeTaiLz 18 Posted July 11, 2012 Should I update the arma 2 beta patch? Would I still be able to join servers with a outdated beta patch?Heres a link to the patch btw:http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php/
Dingus (DayZ) 429 Posted July 11, 2012 I think 1.7.2 requires at least beta patch 94444 now, so I would think so. A lot of the updater clients do it automatically as well.

KWilt 157 Posted July 11, 2012 Yes sir, you can update. As long as you're on-patch or newer, you can play.(For example, if your server is on 94209 and you're on 94700, you'll be fine.)
Zakificus 10 Posted July 11, 2012 I think it's good practice to ALWAYS update to the newest patch. In my experience it has never hurt anything. The beta patches don't ever seem to break anything so they aren't as risky as hopping into the next DayZ version the moment it appears.
