The only thing I take issue with

Recommended Posts

I'm having a hard time believing that there are no bicycles/motorcycles/regular cars around Chernarus.

Even in a post Soviet state there would be bikes laying around or civilian cars...quite a few.

Am I talking out of my ass or are they not there because they're bugged and being worked on?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

There are cars around. Just most of them wrecked and some (Rare) are repair-able.

There's also helicopters and boats around that are repair-able.

Sadly, no bicycles and motorcycles yet.

There are also working ATV's, found and repaired two a few nights ago. Sadly we haven't seen them since we saved them to location.

I would actually like the signs in the cities to be true :D First time I saw "autoservis" (repair shop) sign, I thought it would be an abandoned repair shop with at least parts for repairing, maybe even a vehicle, but Nooo, a friendly family of Zeds was waiting for me instead :D

Yeah I know there are repairable assets in the game...

But what I mean is there should be functional assets already in there. Not every single car has to be broken and needing work done to it.

This is especially true of bicycles, there should be tons of these already in the game. The foot transit from A to B is getting old imo.

We need functional vehicles in the game from the get go. Not a whole lot, but enough to make it believable.

I believe you will find the relevant action in the context menu when you look at the car :D.

As a side note (I've said this a few times) I'd really be interested to see the inclusion of heavier armoured vehicles

. Perhaps even a T-34 or some such? In any case I would really love to see some APC's that would at least offer protection against the scourge of regular arms. To start with something relatively benign like the medical UN APC would be fantastic.

Omg if this is implemented i would not mind spending a day or 2 finding the parts. as it is our group has found a bus twice and we called it our Battle bus if we find an APC oh em gee!

I'd like particular vehicles to be more available, with requirements ramping up. For example, a motorbike may not need too much to fix; maybe scrap metal and plain fuel.

Meh. I think half the fun of the game comes from those tense moments when you're walking through the woods, alone, for God knows how long, unsure if that movement you saw was a tree or some punk ass bandit. Make vehicles too accessible and you lose that. I don't really like the idea that everyone who rolls into Cherno could pick up a car and just drive around. Too many cars and it wouldn't feel like an apocalypse.
