"Waiting for Character to create" - Read this!

Same problem...see a black screen"waiting for character"..nothing happens :(

Using ARMA X, tried downgrade to beta 9444..but nothing helps!

Im using Arma Combined OPS on Steam and every server I try still has this issue

Using Steam i wasnt able to enter any game.

Using Six updater i wasnt able to enter any game.

Hey guys,

I haven't done extensive testing or anything, but it would appear you can work around this client-side by double clicking your "role" in the left list to remove your name from the position, then double clicking it again to add yourself back in. Hope it works as well for you all as it seemed to for me! I had it fail several times over, then I tried this method and it worked 2 out of 2 times
