Rumiac 0 Posted April 27, 2012 I checked twice, for some reason on US server 4 it's currently daytime. Around 4 PM almost. Is this sort of time oddity acceptable? Or does it not matter how server owners run their time?
norton86 0 Posted April 27, 2012 EU1+2 have the same problem, the time should be locked to the timezone they are in
cuel 2 Posted April 27, 2012 I've seen it happen before and my guess is that the server lags behind when low on fps, and thus have problems keeping the time correct. A restart should fix it
Rissien 0 Posted April 27, 2012 Restart caused the problem on the EU servers from what I heard.
cuel 2 Posted April 27, 2012 I've never seen incorrect time just after a server restart on the EU servers. The only time I've seen incorrect time was when the server had been running for several hours without a restart.
profanwolf 3 Posted April 27, 2012 Yeah a restart usually fixes it, time passes slower on the server as the fps drops, the scheduler attempts to correct this but usually it doesn't work so well below 15 fps.
Rumiac 0 Posted April 27, 2012 Ah. I was curious if it was something the server ops did. Guess it was just a fluke then.
fighter139 191 Posted April 27, 2012 Both US3 and US4 just went down so they should be correct afterwards.
