Am i the only one that likes character wipes? A clean slate, a new beginning. More choices, more possibilities!

I had a 2 week old character with mountains of items but i'm more excited about starting again than anything. I've always been like that with games.

Nope, i'm pretty mad atm. I finally found all the best stuff, all i had left is to get a ghilie suit. After 5 hours searching for a crash site i finally found one, i was about to head towards it untill the server kicked me out due to a high ping, i went to join a new server and found out my character got compleatly wiped. Played 8 hours straight today to get all the awesome things and now i lost it all becuse of a character wipe, so no i'm not happy.

But aren't wipes supposed to be consistant in Alpha? We're here to test the game, for free aswell.

I'm fine with wipes, as long as their not out of the blue.

If rocket wanted to start wiping at every patch, I would've at least liked to have seen some public statement about that. Instead of us all scrambling, wondering if we're all the victim of hackers or a glitch or whatever.

Number one reason why I hate stealth patches. They cause nothing but chaos for us here on the forums.
