Ret (DayZ) 0 Posted May 17, 2012 So for the past 8 hours, I have been trying desperately to get into a game. Earlier today, I would get stuck on waiting for server response and after 15-20 mins of waiting, I would spawn with no guns, unable to move around. Tonight, EVERY SINGLE server I've tried joining, either during connecting, or shortly after, 'No message received.' and the connection closes about 2 mins after that message repeats itself. What the hell is going on?(I've tried Virginias, Texas, NYs,Chicagos, UKs, EUs FRs EVERYTHING. They all crash and restart.)My internet connection is fine. been playing other games flawlessly so thats not an issue. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

But that's my own conspiracy stuff...In any case, I think they are trying to keep the game from imploding under its own popularity!Patience is a virtue. robertstuartmarshall 1 Posted May 17, 2012 Yeah, every server is just timing out after giving me "Waiting for server response" for at least 5 mins. Ret (DayZ) 0 Posted May 17, 2012 Yeah. apparently this mod has brought in 5 times the original sales of arma 2. in all honesty, CONGRATS to rocket and the team. nicraM 137 Posted May 17, 2012 With the success of the mod (aka more sales of the original game) and Rocket's affiliation with the original games developers (being a dev for BI, himself). I think they will have this fixed, hopefully, in short time. This mod is probably the best game I have ever played. I just bought ARMA2:CO for it, 4 days ago and even though I can't get in, at the moment, I know I'll eventually be able to play. TechnoBanana 0 Posted May 17, 2012 I swear getting into the game is harder then playing the game its self xD hopefully in time this will be fixed! I don't think I have ever seen a mod go so HUGE before so quickly. Just wait until everything is fixed : D try lower population servers they usually load faster.
