Study Body?

Just wondering if anyone else ran across a corpse(s) that you could study? I found a guy in a feeding barn that I could study his corpse and all it said was: Name unknown and died from unknown causes. Or something close to that. I can't remember exactly. I thought it was really great to be able to do this. Maybe this could be expanded on?

I'm sure that's the plan. Like perhaps it will give a clue to how that person died... Via zombie or a shot to the melon.

Yes same thing here, it's always said that for me. I think the developer intends to eventually implement it so you have a chance of finding who they were and what caused them to die.

I laughed the first time I inspected a dead cow and it said "his name was unknown" :DD

When the feature was first implemented it worked perfectly. Told you if they died from gun shots, where the shots hit, if they died of blood loss, or unknown if they respawned.

I assume it will do the same when they get around to fixing it again. I think it broke two patches ago, maybe three.

I've come across alot of corpses where studying it gives no information, just unknown died of unknown causes.. Damn! :(

As I said Honelith and WWWallace71, it currently is broken and everything just says unknown name and cause. Its a useless feature at the moment till it gets fixed but when it does I enjoy the option of seeing how many of the dozens of bodies in Cherno and Electro are from sniper.

If you study them before they respawn it says: His name was (dead players name) and he died from
