There are ten tonne of topics about people wanting to team up. I teamed up with three other people and it is the best thing I have ever done on DayZ. Makes the Mod feel more real when you are raiding a supermarket in Berenzino and you have your buddies covering you.

When you see someone before he sees you, try to get to his back and say "If you turn, I will kill you." He will have no time to shoot at you. Maybe 1 bullet or so if he turns. Now if he doesn't turn you ask him to throw all his weapons on the ground or put to his backpack from which you take it away from. Then when he has no weapons you pick them from the ground or tell him to walk away from them. Now you can travel together safe. Don't let him keep even a hatchet.
