Reinstall Arma2? Or Both?

Hey guys, I am having a massive problem with my games. First of all I would like to note, I have had Arma 2 and OA on my pc for ages! Played Dayz and all! Now I wanted to transfer my arma 2 games on my dads pc, done this before was a simple transfer on a memory stick then to the Pc. Now, it seems to have changed. My OA is on steam and my Arma 2 is on disc, so anyways I loaded dayz commander to update them and that and it says something like, it doesnt seem that you have Combined operations, blah blah or started the game manually..well I have..but then when I join a server it comes up with bad serial key?! I need some help!

There are ten tonne of topics about people wanting to team up. I teamed up with three other people and it is the best thing I have ever done on DayZ. Makes the Mod feel more real when you are raiding a supermarket in Berenzino and you have your buddies covering you.

Seriously. I started playing like Three days ago and on the first day I went to Cherno, found a Whinchester and some ammo, supplies and stuff then got killed. Grouped up with some guys and now have survived 2 days with a AKM, 12 Mags, Coyote backpack (The biggest one) shit tonne of food and drink and a bus. Group up with some people and survive!

Hey guys..did the Six updater Method and the Mod has installed and that but when I go to use the Six Launcher thing it keeps coming up with Update or quick match when I do either I am guessing it checks if I have everything and then the boxes go blank? Come on guys.. Sorry about the Bump.

See this is the thing about the mod I am most looking forward to! The fear of being hunted! I play alot of Mil-sim Airsoft weekends and it is the fun of being hunted! A month ago down in Cheshire my team were forced to crawl in a ditch at 11 at night because we were being followed. We have to sneak into the enemy base and steal a briefcase that had "documents" in it. After we did that the fear of being hunted was just amazing! Adrenaline fuelled awesomeness!

Right guys! Got the dollar in my bank now! Finally! And I just want to make sure what Legal downloads of the game will work. Since I already have the DvD version of Arma 2 I have questions.. 1. Will the steam version of OA work with the Normal DvD of Arma 2. 2. If not, where are other digital downloads of the game that will work? Thanks for your time. :)

What I'm wondering is...Ive got Arma 2 the DVD version and if I buy OA on steam would it still work?

Can you download it from Amazon like Steam?

I bought the DVD version of Arma 2 ages ago but now I am looking to buy the steam version of OA..would it work or would I need to get the Steam version of Arma 2? Cheers.
