Invisible character. No interface

Hey,

I took a break from dayz for a month or 2 as I didnt have time to play. (Since then I have fully updated the dayz files)

Got back into it recently but there seems to be a huge problem with my character.

Problems I am having:

-My character is invisible to me

-I have no interface ( no zombie count, water/blood/food/temperature icons)

-Where ever I go in game, when I log out, I always log back in the same place which is where I originally logged out 2 months ago.

-Sometimes I log into the middle of a field with nothing around.

-Looting causes me to drop everything I have.

I have deleted my character and made a new one but it made no difference. My new character was simply my old one renamed with all the same gear etc and the exact same problems.

I reinstalled Arma2 (which I got through steam) but to no avail.

Any advice one what I can do to get it to work?
