sheepdog 7 Posted July 7, 2012 Hey guys, wondering how many other legit players have come across this problem?I spot two guys with no weapons, in this case "RS Grimes" they salute, say friendly etc, I assist them help them out with medical supplies, lead them to a weapon and the guy TRY's to kill me. I blow his head off and his friend runs away with his tail between his legs.This has happened on numerous occasions. I have try'd to play the nice guy numerous times by sparing people that don't have weapons and assisting them and it always bites me in the ass. I have come to realize a few things.People are NICE when the odds aren't in their favour, otherwise 99.99% of the time they will stab you in the back any chance they get * Have had numerous people come at me with just a hatchet after helping them *This is not a thread to hear bitching or complaining, just to point out and ask if anyone else is experiencing this.Btw...My personal policy has now become SHOOT EVERYONE if your not on my friends list. If you are within 50 feet of me, armed or not I will kill for sport and fun at this point, why? Because I guarantee if that "survivor" with no weapon had even a hatchet he would make an attempt on my life. I am done being the nice guy to players. I am not upset that I have been backstabbed daily playing this game, just stating a fact that you guys mold others play style, so forget friendly. Wondering who else is in this boat? LunaTiK (DayZ) 45 Posted July 7, 2012 Haven't you heard the idiom 'It's a dog eat dog world'. I don't see why this is so surprising to people. While the saying isn't always true it surely can be. Not everyone will back-stab you but if you want to take the chances on figuring out who will and who won't you will die eventually or die often.I have killed people appearing to be friendly just for giggles and I find the entire backstabbing part of the game hilarious at times; even if it was done to me.
