A product that still feels like a alpha after 11 years.
Most of the updates for years have been "tweaks" to what is already there and relatively minor content additions that dont even work properly 70% of the time and require further bugfixes for years to come.

With 11 years of "game development" people expect a quite polished game by now. Even the AI is from the time DAYZ was in alpha. goddamn slackers or incompotent developers. 

The  very least they could battle cheaters...but no they just dont care enough.
All dayz seems to prioritize is SALES. their goal is to sell while doing the bare minimum otherwise. to them it does not matter that the game is garbage as long as they are able to keep selling it.

It'll be interesting when Arma Reforger gets taken over by cheaters. Battleye is no longer an effective anti cheat. It's more or less a supplemental one at this point.
