so far, Ive found nearly every pvp interaction on Sakhal on the southern military island, mostly concentrated around the new small bunker and its control system. I do think this is pretty lame, as there doesnt seem to be any reason to loot the many military areas on the mainland since they all seem to spawn the same low tier weapons. Im hoping bases will sprout up in some of the significant towns on the mainland because they're actually very detailed and have many new buildings/configurations that are pretty cool (adding these buildings/details to Chernarus and Livonia would totally revamp them for me). Basically, I think Sakhal has potential for some bases and good pvp once players have plenty of gear stashed away, but for now it feels like players just run down to the big military area, get geared, and run around that area looking for fights until they die (not too gratifying).

The list goes on. But more importantly I also want to know, why?

Is it to reach a larger audience? the recent changes make the time investment to get set up way too much even for somebody who works part time.

is it to punish larger clans and pvp focused players because it feels like a large nerf to that playstyle.

my theory is that its just the same entropy that slowly destroyed all of my other favourite games, battlefield, fallout, halo etc. company's just hiring the wrong people who didn't understand the original vision, people who don't play a-lot of video games and have no refined taste for the art. People advocating radical changes so they can leave their mark on something famous. 

the lack of communication, or taking feedback, the shill campaign with insider access for all the streamers making sure they wouldn't criticize frostline, or risk losing access and views. The playerbase themselves not being able to play for entire days multiple times in the last few weeks... The whole thing stinks 

I want to know why this happens to every game I love. dayz was literally the last game I truly loved anymore. it was the last game i could turn on every single day and not get bored. Ive bought this game for 2 of my friends and bought Livonia twice also.  just to spread this game and support it. i tell everybody about this game..  i should have ordered a pizza for $40 last night instead of whatever that experience was. 

To me your complaints seem like you are looking for more casual game experience in a game... Dayz is marketed as hardcore survival. 
Some of the things you complain about actualy make the game more immersive for me....why should a fire heat you up by only burning 0.5 sticks? currently it takes only 2-3 sticks on sakhal. Also it makes spoting people easier since fire is a neccesaty and leads to interactions. 

i could go on but you are just looking for a different and easier experience in the game.
