dayz tries to burn your cpu?

Recommended Posts

The CPU temperature rises for about 10 seconds every 40 seconds after a login. My 5900X reaches up to 75°C because the 3 CPU fans are already rotating at 80% of maximum power. That's really annoying. It doesn't even matter what you're doing in the game. You can also just stand still in a closed shed or whatever, the calculations that the CPU has to perform don't match the gameplay at all! I have to assume that there is another intention behind this. These calculations are also carried out again a few minutes later, but no measurements have been taken here. During the game, my CPU fans (iCue H150i Pro XT) usually only run at 40% power and I can hardly hear them. So, what is happening in the background? Is the CPU being misused for other things?

Now the sudden and inappropriate CPU load is around 120 seconds. It can therefore be adjusted on the server side. Obviously they are trying to cover up the scam. The best thing to do is to turn this crap off completely.

My experience with an Alder Lake i5 10 cores 16 threads 12600k is really hot no matter what kind of games I am playing in 4k.

Here is the temperature curve of my cpu since dayz login.

The yellow rectangle shows the rising temperature about 40 seconds after login. In the bios settings I adjusted the fans so that it only begins to increase rpm from 40% to 80% at 70°C - 75°C. That's why I noticed it and I'm wondering what it's all about, because it doesn't fit in with the game at all. My system is not overclocked and I only play at 60fps in full hd. During the rest of the line, I was sitting in a bush. When I use Cinebench23 max temperature is 62°C. So this calculations in the game are aggressive.

My 5600 is behaving just fine in DayZ. Although I do have an overkill aircooler on it and it's running on stock settings without overclocking. Arctic Freezer eSports DUO 34.

Ignore the numbers on the left, they reset each reboot but the graphs are saved. That graph is from last nights session (1.5 hours) on a fairly modded server with 100 players online.

Maybe there is something unintentional happening behind the scenes but I'm not noticing it.

How many days does it take here until a post is unlocked in which an image URL has been embedded? My last post is still hidden

Currently it works fine for me, you still have the issue with the link?

75°C for a game is like nothing.
