Why don't you add infection with a dangerous virus from zombies? To make at least some sense not to mess with them.

"The post-soviet country of Chernarus is struck by an unknown virus, turning the majority population into frenzied infected. Fighting over resources has bred a hostile mentality among survivors, driving what’s left of humanity to collapse. You are one of the few immune to the virus - how far will you go to survive?"

- this is the lore, so it doesn't make sense that magical virus starts gnawing on survivors. Not to mention that majority of players are casuals who would abhor this very idea.

We have "virus" mod available for years now. You know - the one that force you to craft an antidote in order to cure "zombie" infection. It's available to any admin out there - completely optional content is more than enough.

This is a great idea.  Have zombies give you cholera and drop live grenades.  Should be dangerous, amirite.
